Other Involvements/ Community Organizations: Give to the unfortunate and help out the other organizations such as The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Breast Cancer, 3-Day, United Way, March of Dimes, Good Will, and several others.

Why Lambda Theta Alpha: Lambda Theta Alpha sisters have in the past and continue to inspire me to bring out the best of me personally, academically, and professionally. My sisters were there for me when I needed and they are my family here in the United States. I also have great passion for education specially in the technical field. Together with the sisterhood we can empower young ladies and make them aware that their dream does not have to end as a dream, they can make it into a reality.

Why Lambda Theta Alpha: After learning about Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority, Incorporated and all that it stood for, Unity, Love, and Respect, I could not wait to be part of such an extensive group of strong, dedicated, and professional women. I can honestly say that all my sisters have had my back when I needed them the most or when I just needed a good laugh. I love my sisters deeply. I have learned so much from them in such a short amount of time.

Why Lambda Theta Alpha: Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority, Inc. represents the universal woman, that is concerned with societal issues, justice, self-empowerment, and a support system that consists of truth, love, and unity. The organization is an empowerment tool for women by remaining true to its principles of Unity, Love, and Respect. It is also unique in that its members stem from all aspects of life and do not have to fit a certain mold. The variation in its membership enriches the organization by exposing it to new perceptions, ideas, and goals. This organization strives for excellence in all that it does, from basic community services, educational functions and events, and of course in the people that it encompasses.

Why Lambda Theta Alpha: I loved the fact that the founding mothers are still involved. When I began my undergrad career I wanted to be involved on campus but I didnt find a sorority I felt connected with so I did some research and knew LTA was the ONE I wanted to be involved in and although it took a while I am so happy to call myself a part of the best sisterhood in the world.
