Interested Ladies

As a woman who has already graduated from college you may wonder what are the benefits of joining a sorority at this stage in your life. As a professional or someone continuing to work towards your dream career in graduate school you will have the opportunity to network with sisters from across the country in your field of interest. Many sisters have taken advantage of this opportunity and have been able to get their foot in the door at many large corporations that they may not have been able to had it not been for a sister they met. Also, as you get older you may miss the bonds you had with some of your friends in high school and college. Being a part of a sisterhood that lasts a lifetime will give you the opportunity to recreate those types of bonds and build strong friendships with women who have the same values as you. 

One of the primary concerns of Lambda Theta Alpha has been and continues to be the growth and diversity of its sisterhood. For this reason, the "Interested Ladies of Lambda Theta Alpha" was established as an interest group. The Ladies of Lambda Theta Alpha take great pride in the interest group and devote much time to its success and orientation.

   As the first Latin sorority ever created to cater towards the needs of Latinas in the nation, Lambda Theta Alpha recognizes the importance of reaching out to others and forming a united coalition of professional, diverse, culturally and politically aware women. We are not an exclusive group of women and believe that all women alike should be given an opportunity to make their mark on the world. This is our right and our profound legacy.
